The Glenn Miller Birthplace & Museum has been closed due to the COVID virus.  Following all social distancing and sanitizing recommendations, we will be open on Saturday July 11 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.  We will be open, until further notice, on Saturdays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, by appointment only.  To make an appointment call 712-542-2461 or email shari@glennmiller.org.  You will need masks and gloves when you arrive for your tour. Looking forward to seeing Glenn Miller fans.

GLENN MILLER BIRTHPLACE SOCIETY MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION

The 44th annual Glenn Miller Music Scholarship Competition is scheduled for June 11, 2020, has been cancelled as the 2020 Glenn Miller Festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Virus.​ Information on the 2021 Scholarship Competition will be available in the fall of 2020.

Each year GMBS awards $12,000 in cash prizes to the top three winners in both vocal and instrumental categories.
